Origination
In December 2007 ninoVISTA foundress Carolyn Aigner travelled to Nicagagua the first time and became aquainted with the „Casa de los Tres Mundos“ in Granada. The „Casa“ is a house, where children are teached in arts and music. Even a small youth radiostation is included (www.c3mundos.org, www.panyarte.at ).

The work as artists also offers an alternative to drugs and crime for street children. It improves the children's self-assurance and shows them a perspective to shaping their lives creatively.
The cultural center had been founded more than 15 years ago by the Austrian actor, moderator and writer Dietmar Schönherr and his friend, poet and former minister for education of Nicaragua Ernesto Cardenal.
Bread and art are the most important provisions of humans. We care about both of them. (Dietmar Schönherr)
Aigner reflected on how one could evolve the idea „to donate education“ in a future-oriented way. This resulted in the first basic concept in July 2008 and a following exhibition in Vienna's old town gallery „Bäckerstrasse4“ with drawings of children from the „Casa de los Tres Mundos“. At the opening the idea for ninoVISTA was presented to the public for the first time.

In the following three months Aigner was able to find donors and sponsors, whose support has made possible the realization in the first place.
Aigner: „I want to thank all the people at this point, who have supported me respectively still do with good grace: Thank you very much indeed Paul Blazek - Cyledge, Sigi Erndt - Xion, Wolfgang Krautzer - Kontakt zu Olympus, Roland Krebs - Pan y Arte, Mag. Walter Reichl - Steuerberatung, Günter Roth - Aha Werbeagentur, Gabriele Schober - Galerie Bäckerstrasse4, Gustav Soucek - UPC, Günter Unger - Warner Music und Josef Zotter.“ (in alphabetical order)
