Who is behind it
Carolyn Aigner is initiator and leader of the ninoVISTA project.
She began her career as a redactioner and morederator at Radio Wien and Oe3. In the meanwhile she works as a TV host at the Austrian broadcaster ORF. Carolyn is born in Vienna, has educations as an actress and at the Conservatorium of the City of Vienna, played parts in several TV productions and has also been successful as comedian.
Carolyn Aigner likes to travel through the world and has chosen Centfral America to be her favorit destination, so far: "It is important for me, that my life never becomes drab. I love diversification and new challenges." Since her first travel to Nicaragua she has been enthusiastic about the country and people and set herself the target to initiate and support local projects.
Short Biography
Carolyn Aigner was born in Vienna 1969.
In the early years of 18 already, she began to reach out to the world. After having finished a fashion desin school (Michelbeuern) she gained her first work experience abroad as an au-pair in Washington DC. As soon as this job was finished she directly targeted Mexico, where she worked at Hotel „Camino Real–Ixtapa“ for half a year and also began to write her first media reports.
1988 Carolyn began as editorial journalist at Radio Vienna and the magazine „Rennbahn Express“. Hereafter her time as editor and radio coverage composer at Oe3 followed (with a break of six month, when she stayed in Los Angeles).
1992 Carolyn was invited into the marketing team of BMG Ariola, before she successfully completed her three years of actor's training by Elfriede Ott at the Conservatorium of the City of Vienna in fall of 1993. One year of tour with the „Heilbutt & Rosen“ comedy group followed in 1996.
1998 Carolyn presented the daily radio broadcast „Mitten ins Herz“ at „Antenne Wien“, as private broadcaster new at that time. One year later she abandoned from the media scape and dedicated her life to the study of mental training. In the year 2000 her first book „Recipes for Activating your Subconscious“ („Rezepte zur Aktivierung Ihres Unterbewusstseins“) was released.
At 2001 Carolyn returned to the „Showbiz“ and presented the weekly Tv-show „Millionenlos“ at ORF in 2002. Since 2003 furthermore the formats „Toi toi toi“, „Lotto 6 aus 45“ and „Euromillionen“.
Besides, she is a photographer and writer for different magazines, as „Wienerin“, „Woman“ or „Seitenblickemagazin“.
With her Exhibitions „BlackColorful“ („SchwarzBunt“) since 2008 she is also known to the public as photographic artist. http://www.aignerartig.com/
Her annual adventure trips have led her to Australia, Egypt, the Cook Islands, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenia, Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Sri Lanka, USA and to various European countries southern the 50th latitude so far.
